Private Plane Crashes

A quick search of the Daily News archives finds that there have been nine crashes of private planes at or near Ruckel Field since 1989:

26 May 1989 1 person killed

18 Jan 1993 2 people injured

12 Jun 1993 1 person killed

17 Jul 1998 1 person injured

25 Aug 2000 1 person injured

31 Mar 2001 1 person injured

15 Jul 2006 2 people walked away uninjured

22 Aug 2007 4 people injured

09 Jun 2008 1 person injured

15 Mar 2012 2 people killed
