On Super Tuesday, 36 percent or 22,888 of Okaloosa County’s 64,140 registered voters cast votes, in Walton County, 4,077, or 30 percent of 13,599 eligible voters, cast ballots and in Santa Rosa County, 11,848 votes were cast, accounting for 26 percent of the 45,496 registered voters there.

10 years ago – 2002

Inland Dredging Co. of Dyersburg, Tenn., was awarded the approximately $750,000 assignment by the Army Corps of Engineers of  dredging East Pass, and was set to move nearly 200,000 cubic yards of sand from the pass bottom onshore.
